Marlise Achterberg

Biography of Marlise Achterberg, author of the children's picture book "Princess Nina" published by Clavis Publishing, New York.

Marlise Achterbergh

Marlise Achterbergh has always loved travelling. She was born in the Netherlands, lived in Uganda, studied in California and worked in Norway. At the moment she lives in Amsterdam with a French partner and teaches social studies at an international school. Taking into consideration that she studied cultural anthropology it is no surprise that an environment rich in cultural diversity feels like her natural habitat. When her brother told her he was gay she wrote a book for him as a sign of support. This book is Princes Nina. Marlise is born in 1986, likes theater, French pastries and watching documentaries.
