We make children’s dreams come true,
one book at a time.
Our Mission
Children’s books allow children to deal with their emotions and fears, to stimulate their imagination, to get an insight in their own behaviour, to understand the relations between people and the difference between right and wrong. Moreover, children’s books and their exciting content create a strong tie between parent and child.
Clavis Publishing launches Key Colors, the two-yearly contest for illustrators of children’s books. The winner receives $ 8,000 and the winning work will be published by Clavis Publishing.
“There is something magical about creating books. Each book is an opportunity to create a miniature world in which children can identify themselves.”
Author & Illustrator Esther van den Berg
The wonderful world of Clavis Publishing
At Clavis Publishing, children are at the heart of everything we do.
We believe that tomorrow’s world will reflect the dreams of today’s children. Therefore, it’s our mission to make their experiences as beautiful as possible.
A heartwarming story about loss, courage, and empathy. For children ages 3 years and up.
Emma takes her beloved doll Mia everywhere she goes. They play, laugh, and cry together, but one day something happens that makes Mia look less than perfect. The children in the neighborhood tease Emma about her broken doll, so she hides Mia and plays with her new, beautiful doll instead. But no matter how hard she tries, Emma can’t forget Mia. When she meets Sofia, who doesn’t have a doll, Emma suddenly knows what to do.
